  • All Active Minds chapters are entitled to receive a copy of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention's "The Truth About Suicide" video and resource tool to show on your campus. If you have not yet received a copy of the video, contact chapters@activeminds.org and we will send you one

  • Erica Hamilton, Student Advisory Committee member and founding president of Active Minds at University of North Carolina at Greensboro, for the winning the 2006-2007 Georgia Cooper Moore Leadership and Service Award for her work with Active Minds at UNCG
  • Tonya Ackley for winning Advisor of the Year 2006-2007 from University of Pittsburgh at Bradford for her work with Active Minds at Pittsburgh-Bradford
  • Active Minds at Middlebury College for winning Outstanding New Student Organization of the Year 2005-2006 at their college
  • Active Minds at Colorado State University, who was awarded Outstanding Social Consciousness Program 2006 at their university
  • Active Minds at Colorado State University for winning Chapter of the Year 2006 at the Active Minds Mental Health on Campus Conference
  • Active Minds at Penn, who was awarded the Innovation Award from the Mental Health Association of Southeastern Pennsylvania in May, 2003

Special Mailing Lists for Active Minds members only
Chapter Presidents
In addition to our mailing list and newsletter, we also offer the Active Minds Inc. Yahoo group. This group is comprised of student and staff Active Minds members, and allows subscribers to post messages to all group members. This is an ideal tool for students on all of our campuses to stay connected, share ideas for events, and get others' feedback. This group is only open to members of Active Minds chapters. If you are a chapter leader and have not yet been invited to join, please contact chapters@activeminds.org .
